It started with a shared love.
Christine and Michelle, two American friends who call Lyon home, connected with Hubert, owner of X Sight Travel. Together they discovered a shared passion for travel and pickleball.
Together, they imagined several itineraries designed especially for English-speaking travelers wishing to explore France, meet local people, and share friendly moments around pickleball. More than just a sports trip, this experience has been designed as a warm, human, and cultural immersion.

Day 1 - Welcome to Paris
- Afternoon: Arrival and hotel transfer with personalized welcome.
- 6:00 PM: Check-in at the 4-star Hôtel Royal Saint Michel (or equivalent).
- 7:00 PM: Welcome reception, aperitif, and friendly group dinner.
- Overnight: 4-star hotel in the heart of Paris
Day 2 - Iconic Paris & Moulin Rouge
- Morning: Seine River boat cruise after breakfast.
- Afternoon: Paris lunch followed by free time for shopping, sightseeing, or pickleball.
- Evening: Transfer to Montmartre for a dinner show at the iconic Moulin Rouge.
- Overnight: 4-star hotel in Paris.
Day 3 - From Paris to Lyon
- Morning: Guided tour of Notre-Dame de Paris and Île de la Cité.
- Lunch: Brasserie meal or picnic along the Seine.
- Afternoon: TGV train transfer to Lyon, followed by a pickleball session at InPick.
- Evening: Check-in at the 5-star Boscolo Hotel Lyon (or equivalent) & dinner on your own

- Morning: Transfer to Oingt, a famous Golden Stone medieval village.
- Lunch & Tasting: Tour, wine tasting, and lunch at Château de La Chaize.
- Afternoon: Visit to a historic priory and museum, followed by pickleball at InPick.
- Evening: Dinner at leisure and overnight at Boscolo Hotel Lyon.
Day 5 - Local Matches & French Barbecue
- Morning: Friendly pickleball matches with members of the Oullins club.
- Lunch: Shared French barbecue with local players.
- Afternoon: Free time to explore the heart of Lyon.
- Evening: Dinner and leisure time; overnight at Boscolo Hotel Lyon.
Day 6 - Old Lyon & Gastronomy
- Morning: Guided tour of Vieux Lyon and the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière.
- Lunch: Authentic meal at a traditional Lyonnais bouchon restaurant.
- Afternoon: Afternoon pickleball session at InPick.

Day 7 - Pont du Gard & Provence
- Morning: Transfer south to Provence and visit the Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard.

Day 10 - Island Play & Calanques Cruise
- Morning: Island pickleball play on Île des Embiez.

Do I need to speak French?
This trip is crafted for English-speaking travelers, and our hosts ensure communication is smooth and effortless throughout.
What pickleball level do I need?
All levels are welcome. Our aim is to play friendly matches, meet new people and create lasting memories together.
How many people will be in the group?
We like to keep the group intimate, limited to 16 people.
Can my non-pickleball-playing partner join?
Yes, we welcome everyone.
When should I arrive?
Officially our trip begins with a welcome dinner on the first day. With the challenges in today’s air travels, building in a little wiggle room is never a bad idea.

Double Room – €1,995 per person, based on two travelers sharing a room

Single Room – €2,310 per person (€1,995 + €315 single room supplement)

Deposit – A 30% deposit is required to reserve your place on the trip. The deposit is applied toward the total trip price.

Final Payment – The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip start date, at which point the trip will be officially confirmed based on reaching the minimum required group size.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation, the following amounts are non-refundable:
- 91+ days before the trip start date – €200
- 61–90 days before the trip start date – 30% of the total trip price
- 31–60 days before the trip start date – 60% of the total trip price
- 30 days or fewer before the trip start date – 100% of the total trip price
The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip start date. Trip confirmation is finalized at the 60-day mark based on reaching the minimum group size of 8 participants. XSIGHT Travel reserves the right to cancel the trip if the minimum number of participants is not reached 60 days prior to the trip start date. In this case, XSIGHT Travel will refund 100% of the trip in EUROS. Dollar exchange rate and conversion rate used by the bank or credit card company used may cause the price reimbursed to fluctuate.
